WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

As Associate Battery System Engineer, you will work closely with our senior battery and power electronics experts on:
Supporting the electrical and mechanical design of MV battery modules
Preparing CAD drawings, schematics, and layout documentation for manufacturing and certification
Performing preliminary simulations (thermal, electrical, vibration) and analyzing results
Assisting in prototype assembly, lab testing, and validation activities
Contributing to component selection, BoM creation, and supplier coordination
Supporting documentation and reporting for safety, performance, and classification compliance (e.g., DNV)

MSc or BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Energy Systems
1–3 years of relevant experience in battery systems, electrical integration, or high-voltage components (experience with MV systems is a plus)
Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, EPLAN), circuit simulation tools.
Detail-oriented and methodical, with a strong interest in safe and certifiable design
Good documentation and reporting skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multilingual R&D environment

Experience in marine, rail, or industrial energy storage projects
Exposure to maritime standards (e.g., IEC 60092, DNV rules)
Interest in safety-critical systems and type approval pathways
Hands-on lab/test bench experience with batteries or electrical prototypes
